Paraffin oil and Naphthenic oil are widely used as processing aids and plasticizers in adhesive formulations, each offering distinct performance benefits. Paraffin oil provides lubrication, reduces viscosity, and improves the workability and spreadability of adhesives, making it easier to apply uniformly on substrates. It also enhances flexibility and helps in controlling tack levels in pressure-sensitive and hot-melt adhesives.
